April Class Update

April Orientation & Classes

As reported by various organizations, the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread in Tokyo. In addition, the number of cases of infection in unknown patients and younger people has been increasing. Judging that there is a possibility that the infection will spread further in the future, the schedule for the April term will be changed as follows.

April Class Starts on Thursday, 7th May

The class start date for the April term will be changed to Thursday, May 7th.

Please study at home until the class starts.

Beginner class students are encouraged to review their Japanese, sentence exercise books, and kanji exercise books.

Beginner and intermediate students should review and prepare for Kanji, vocabulary and grammar books.

Classes for the April term are from May 7 (Thu) to July 10 (Fri).

We will change the annual schedule, but the number of class hours per year is not a problem.

Please refrain from nonessential outings in the meantime. Please do not go out just to have fun.

The new coronavirus is a very infectious disease. The number of young infected people in Tokyo is increasing a lot.

Be careful not to get infected with the new coronavirus.

Should you become infected with the new coronavirus, you must not transfer it to others.

It may be asymptomatic even if infected with the new coronavirus, but an asymptomatic person can still infect other people.

This is not just your problem. It's a matter of health and safety for everyone.

To prevent infection of the new coronavirus, please follow these guidelines.

Infectious Disease Prevention
  • Gargle, wash your hands and follow cough etiquette frequently to prevent infection.
  • Wear a mask to prevent infection and to avoid transferring it to others.
  • Please do not go crowded places.
  • Please get enough sleep and nutrition.
  • If you experience symptoms such as high fever (over 37.5 ° C), continued fever, or coughing, go to a hospital.
  • If you feel unwell, please report it to the school.
  • If you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms, take a rest from part-time job and recuperate at home.
  • Please refrain from unnecessary outings.

It is safest to stay at home without going outside. You don't have to worry about getting a virus or possibly infecting others.

This is the most important time to take action to protect your health and the lives of loved ones.

If you have any concerns or concerns, please contact the school at any time.

  • The application for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is currently suspended due to the effects of the new coronavirus. We'll let you know when we know more about the application.

If there is a change in the above schedule, it will be posted on the school website, so please check the website daily.
